New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is threatening to sue President Donald Trump over the controversial new health care law, according to a new report.
The Hill’s Alex Seitz-Wald reports:”Trump, who has said he will not sign a bill that defunds Planned Parenthood and other groups that provide abortions, has said the president has made him ‘a target of hate’ and ‘a threat to the national security’ of the U.S. and has threatened to veto a federal bill that he says would help with funding for health care.”
Christie issued a statement Monday night calling Trump a ‘dangerous, dangerous man’ and saying that he will “fight any attempts to destroy the nation and destroy our constitutional system of government.”
He also called Trump ‘a dangerous man who is dangerous to the well-being of the people of New Jersey and the nation.’
“Trump and Christie have been at odds since the president announced in March that he would be appointing a special counsel to investigate the 2016 Trump campaign’s Russia connections, a move that drew a rebuke from Democratic leaders.
