It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of Kentucky basketball.
We love the players.
We want them to be the best.
But there’s something about the Wildcats that seems to always take center stage, no matter the occasion.
The Kentucky Wildcats have been at the center of the national spotlight for decades.
Their hoops history is a long one, dating back to the first time they played on campus in 1874.
The Wildcats are the first team to win an NCAA title and have captured the Big 12 Conference Championship three times.
They have been among the top 10 teams in the NCAA Tournament at least once in each of the past four years, and the program has won two national championships since 2005.
When the season begins on March 15, we will be counting down the 10 best Kentucky players from the past decade.
We’ll start with the 2014-15 Wildcats.
