SHADES of snow blanketed the snow-covered hills of California and Nevada as snow fell in Nevada’s Carson City neighborhood and the snowpack began to recede.
But there were still plenty of good moments to watch during the afternoon.
The Los Angeles Rams took the field against the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks in a home game that started just after 3 p.m.
ET and ended with a thrilling overtime thriller.
The Rams won 31-28 in overtime.
They’re now 1-2 in their first four games of the season.
The Raiders are 2-1 in their last four.
Meanwhile, the Oakland Seahawks’ comeback game against the Seattle Sounders was marred by a late, late fumble that resulted in a fumble recovery by Seattle.
Seattle scored a touchdown to win, 26-25.
It was the second overtime loss in the Seahawks’ last four games.
The Raiders will now play the Pittsburgh Steelers in a road game on Thursday.
Seattle was also without starting center Nick Moody, who was ruled out after taking a knee during a preseason practice.
The NFL said he will not play in this season’s playoffs.
Seattle is 0-5-0 in the playoffs this season, but the Seahawks have gone 3-0 against AFC West opponents.
Seattle’s next game is Thursday at the Los Angeles Coliseum against the Kansas City Chiefs.
